As you’ve probably already gathered from this website, I love plants and gardening. So much so that I wanted to create a blog around it, which is when plantedshack.com was born.
My journey into growing plants started at a young age when I was just 6 years old. My parents created a small garden for me to grow whatever I wanted, which at the time was grass (I can’t remember why).
As I grew up my little garden grew up with me, producing giant pumpkins, broad beans, wildflowers and anything else I could get the seeds for.
Now as a 30 something-year-old with a son of my own, I still have a passion for plants and gardening and hope one day to install that love for nature in my own kids.
My hope for plantedshack.com is that not only can I share what I’ve learned over the years, but I also hope to discover something new.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes over the years and have and nearly killed many plants through overfeeding, watering and extended holidays.
Hopefully, I can save you from inflicting the same fate on our leafy friends by learning from my mistakes.
