ABOUT ME

My name is Jonathan Holmes, and I am a passionate gardener and plant aficionado living in the beautiful landscapes of Australia with my loving wife and two kids. I have been gardening for over 20 years and have been fortunate enough to turn my passion into a way of life. My love for plants and gardening began as a young boy, helping my parents in their garden and learning the value of nurturing and caring for our natural environment.

As I grew older, this passion only intensified, and I found myself continually expanding my knowledge and skills in the world of gardening. I have experimented with various gardening techniques, plant species, and landscaping ideas, always striving to create a harmonious and sustainable outdoor space.

In 2019, I decided to take my love for gardening and plants a step further by creating Planted Shack. My vision for this blog was to share my experiences, knowledge, and passion with a wider audience and to create a community of like-minded individuals who share the same love for plants and gardening as I do.
